NEPAL

Tourist Visa

Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport in Nepal. The Immigration Office, TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) under the Department of Immigration, has been facilitating tourists flying to Nepal by providing a visa on arrival. The ‘On Arrival’ visa procedure is very quick and simple. You can expect some queues during peak tourist season, but if you wish to skip those queues, you can also consider getting a visa from the Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed abroad prior to your arrival. 

 If you have obtained a visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions, then you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal.

Visas obtained on Arrival at the entry and exit points are ‘Tourist Visas’.  They bear multiple re-entry facilities. A Tourist Visa ‘On Arrival’ is the only entry visa into Nepal. If you are visiting Nepal for purposes other than tourism (sightseeing, tour, travel, mountaineering, trekking, visiting friends and families), you should still get a ‘ Tourist Visa’ to get into the country.  However, you must change the category of visa as per your purpose and length of stay in Nepal from the Department of Immigration by producing the required documents.

Nationals of following countries are requested to acquire a Visa prior to their arrival from their nearby diplomatic missions (embassies/consulates) of the Nepalese Government.

Please follow these simple procedures to gain a Tourist Visa On Arrival at the airport (TIA)  if you have not acquired a visa prior to boarding the plane.

• 1st Step
  • Fill out the ‘Arrival Card’
  • Fill out the Online ‘Tourist Visa ‘form (you can fill it out prior to your arrival by visiting the  Department of Immigration’s official website or by using the kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport).  If you fill it out on the website, you will get a submission receipt with a barcode; please print it out and bring it along when acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid thereafter.  If so, you will have to fill out the form again.

• 2nd Step  
  • Make a payment at the bank according to your visa requirement (15/30/90 Days)
  • Get the receipt

While you can use different payment methods (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash just to be on the safe side.

On Arrival Visa Fee at Entry Points:

15 Days – $30 USD

30 Days – $50 USD

90 Days – $125 USD

• 3rd Step  
  • Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form, payment receipts, and your passport
  • Hand in your documents to the immigration officer for visa processing. They will issue a visa to you upon their satisfaction.

Visa Extension Fee 

• A Tourist Visa extension can be done for a minimum 15 days for $45 USD and $3 USD per day for additional days.
• In the case of delay, less than 150 days additional USD 5 per day as late fine.

Visa During Covid-19 

During this pandemic, all ‘On Arrival’ visas are suspended until further notice. 

How to get a visa?

• Apply via a Nepalese Diplomatic mission (Embassy of Nepal) in your country. 
• Ask us to get you an on arrival visa recommendation letter from the government of Nepal.

To get a visa recommendation letter, you need to provide us with:

• Passport
• Photo
• Travel insurance which clearly mentions Covid-19 coverage.

Things to make sure you have handy before flying to Nepal.

• -A PCR test report within 72 hours or less before boarding your flight.
• Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
• Travel insurance.
• Hotel booking confirmation. (we will provide you that)
• Filled out CCMC form.

Covid-19 Vaccination Rule: 

Non-vaccinated travelers must be quarantined in Nepalese government-approved hotels for seven days.

Fully vaccinated travelers can self-quarantine.

The applicant is required to have:

• A passport from an eligible country valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of with at least six months of validity remaining
• A recent passport-type photo of the applicant
• A valid debit/credit card to pay the Botswana visa fee
• A current email address to which to receive the approved e-Visa for Botswana.
• Additional documents required for a tourist e-Visa include:
• Return or onward ticket
• Flight reservations
• Confirmation of accommodation booking(s) in Botswana
• Travel plans/schedule

TANZANIA

Where to get visa in Tanzania

• In Dar es Salaam: The Office of the Director of Immigration Services
• In Zanzibar: The Office of the Principal Immigration Officer
• Abroad: Any Tanzanian Embassy or High Commission or via the Tanzania Immigration Services website
• Entry points to Tanzania: Any gazette entry point, including international airports, Zanzibar Airport, the port of Kigoma, Horohoro, Sirari, Tunduma, and Nagama

Note: Allow extra time for this process. You will need $100 USD in cash if you are a U.S. citizen or $50 in cash for all other nationals.

• Alternatively, you can get your visa ahead of time. U.S. citizens can get a visa application from the U.S. Tanzania Embassy website or call them in Washington D.C. at 202-939-6125, and ask for a visa application.

Requirements to get visa

• Valid passport (at least 6 months before expiration)
• Two passport-size photos
• $50 ($100 for U.S. passports)
• Prepaid return envelope addressed to yourself (multiple applications can be sent together)
• Proof of travel plans (our Reservation Confirmation is sufficient)

Payment can be made by money order, credit card ($2 processing fee), personal check (include a copy of your driver’s license and add a $2 processing fee).

Allow 30 days for processing. You might want to consider sending it via certified mail or Federal Express to ensure the safety of your passport.

Passport

You must have a valid Passport with no less than six months from expiration left on the passport from the date of entry into Tanzania.

PERU

Visas and entry procedures

Peru is an easy country to enter. People from most countries in the Americas and Western Europe do not need a tourist visa to enter Peru. The maximum length of stay that Peru grants to tourists is 183 days, which cannot be extended. If you wish to stay longer for other reasons, such as business, studying, or working, you need to request the relevant visa at the Peruvian consulate in your own country.

It is essential when entering Peru to present a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months from the date of entry into the country. Citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia and Chile can enter with their national ID document.

Foreign nationals who wish to enter and/or leave Peruvian territory must present the following:

1. A passport legitimately issued by a country with a minimum validity of six months from the date of entry into the country.
2. A valid letter of safe-conduct, legitimately issued by a country and only in exceptional cases as established in international treaties and conventions to which Peru is a signatory, or when approved by the country that issued the letter of safe-conduct, provided that the conditions have been recognized and accepted by the Peruvian authorities. A valid travel document issued by the Peruvian Immigration Department is also valid. 
3. A travel document or Laissez Passer legitimately issued by a country or relating to international treaties and conventions to which Peru is a signatory, for humanitarian reasons. 
4. A travel document for refugees and asylum seekers issued by Peru or another country within the framework of the international treaties and conventions to which Peru is a signatory.
5. A valid foreign ID document conforming to international treaties and conventions to which Peru is a signatory, and which regulate and define the circumstances in which they will apply. 
6. Other valid travel documents conforming to international treaties and conventions to which Peru is a signatory, and which regulate and define the circumstances in which they will apply.

ZAMBIA

A passport and visa are required for entry into Zambia. Passports must be valid for at least six months upon arrival and have at least three blank pages upon each entry. Travelers coming from other countries on the way to Zambia, particularly South Africa, should refer to their Country Information pages for additional blank page requirements.

Zambian entry visas can be obtained online through the Department of Immigration’s e-Services website or upon arrival at any port of entry. Visit the Embassy of Zambia’s website or the Department of Immigration’s website for information on all types of visas and their costs, as well as the most current visa information.

You must carry the original or a certified copy of your passport and immigration permit at all times. Certified copies must be obtained from the office that issued the permit. If your passport is lost or stolen, visit the Zambian Department of Immigration to obtain a replacement entry permit at no cost before attempting to depart the country.

Departure Tax/Security Charge: For U.S. citizens must pay an airport departure tax in local currency. This tax is included in the cost of international flight tickets. For domestic flights, passengers pay a nominal charge in Zambian kwacha prior to entering the departure hall, only for chartered flights.

BOTSWANA

Visa Information

The applicant is required to have:

• A passport from an eligible country valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of with at least six months of validity remaining

EGYPT

Passports

To be admitted entry into Egypt, a passport valid for at least six months from the date of issue of the visa is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. Visitors from all countries, except EU and US nationals, must register with the police within one week of arrival in Egypt, although this service is normally undertaken by hotels. When you check in at your hotel, the receptionist will ask to see your passport and will record its details for the police.

Visas

Nationals from all of the above-mentioned countries have the option of obtaining tourist visas upon arrival in Egypt. They are usually valid for three months.

1. Visas are required by all nationals referred to in the table above. These nationals may obtain a visa on arrival valid for 30 days. The visa on arrival can be obtained at Egyptian airports only. A visa prior to travel is needed when arriving at border crossings on land or by sea.
2. South Sinai Red sea resorts permission stamp on arrival: EU, Australian, Canadian and US nationals travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dhab, Nuweiba or Taba resorts for up to maximum of 15 days, who do not need a visa and will receive a free entry permission stamp on arrival, when arriving at Sharm el-sheikh, Saint Catherine or Taba Airports.

You can obtain visas from Egyptian consulates in your country of residence or on arrival at airports in Egypt. A multiple-visit visa is necessary if your trip includes travel in and out of Egypt.

Business visa applications must be submitted with a letter from the company stating the reasons for the visit.

Types and Cost

Visa on Arrival: $25 USD

Consulate visa cost varies according to Nationality. UK and Australian nationals: Tourist: £20 (single entry), £32 (multiple entry)

Canadian Nationals: tourist: £20 (single entry); £32 (multiple entry); business £50 ((single entry); £75 (multiple entry).

USA Nationals: tourist $15 USD (single or multiple entry); business: $40 USD (single-entry); $55 USD (multiple entry)

Visa fees for other EU nationals visiting Egypt vary according to country, but most follow the same fees that apply to UK and Australian nationals.

Validity

Visa on arrival: 30 Days

Single and multiple-entry visas are valid for six months from the date of issue for a maximum stay of 60 and 90 days, respectively. Extensions are available from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Egypt.
