Upper Mustang MTB – 15 Days
Overview
Set out on an exciting mountain riding adventure via Nepal’s lesser-known trails. The Upper Mustang MTB journey brings you to the walled city of Lo Manthang, several century-old Gompas, and mountainous terrain with sweeping Himalayan views. The route takes you on the trails between the massifs of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. One of the unique features of the Mustang is the arid desert-like landscape that will not fail to take your breath away. Every turn along the route gives way to breathtaking scenery. Upper Mustang Enduro is a beautiful tour for mountain bikers who want to enjoy the adventure and learn about the culture. Access to the area is also made easier with flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Pokhara to Jomsom. Upper Mustang Enduro also includes shuttle service, which means more downhill riding and less pedaling.

We’ll travel up to 4000 meters above sea level, where we’ll start our first descent to Dhakmar.
With rough pebbles and sands, it’s a short and enjoyable track to ride. We’ll drive back up to the top to ride the following route, similar to the first. Finally, we’ll take the shuttle back up to the exact location to ride the day’s final trial. In comparison to the first two paths, the last trail is smooth and less steep.
