Overview
Tanzania Private Multi Day Safari Holiday
This 6 Days Tanzania Private Multi day safari Holiday package will give you an exciting opportunity to visit the most beautiful parks in northern Tanzania. This includes visiting the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, where you will be able to see all the big five. You will also visit Tarangire National park, which is famous for a huge population of elephants, and also the Ngorongoro Crater, which is locally known as the garden of animals, where there is a big chance to spot the big five in one day.
All our African wildlife safaris specifically include the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It specifically includes the Tarangire National Park and has been designed to offer you a total Tanzania northern circuit safari experience while attempting to keep your non-game-viewing travel time to a minimum.
This Tanzania Private Multi day safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure. It will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. Finally, your safari will also take you to the Tarangire National Park, which once again features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania – second only to the Ngorongoro Crater – but less crowded and unspoiled – possessing a wild and unkempt beauty.

We will pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest national park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge, where a delicious dinner awaits you.

The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. A picnic lunch will be done during the day-long game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and is fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodations.
- Main destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Meals & drinks: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 5: Crater tour (5 hours’ game drive) and to Arusha/Moshi
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast, you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq km with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascent to the top of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a four-four drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel accommodation by 6:00 PM.

Others tips
- Bring soft luggage such as a duffel bag, hiking pack or sports bag. These are ideal for packing into a safari vehicle. Hard suitcases can often be difficult to fit into the vehicles.
- Bring a backpack to carry all of your important items including travel documents, money, camera, medication etc. You should keep this backpack with you at all times.
- Keep luxury items such as hair dryers/ straighteners, expensive jewellery, make up and bulky toiletries to an absolute minimum. If in doubt, leave them out.
- If you plan to bring cash, divide it into different areas of your carry-on luggage, wallet and money belt just in case something happens to one of those carry items.
- Leave some space in your luggage for the all-important souvenirs that you will probably buy. There are places where you can send packages home via DHL etc, however this can sometimes be an expensive option.
