Overview
Get out of the city and into the desert on this overnight trip. Explore the capital city of Bawiti, Bahariya, with its lush palm groves and giant dunes. See hot springs, the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Agabat Valley, and White Desert National Park. In the evening, enjoy a barbecue dinner under the stars before drifting off to sleep in your tent. After breakfast in the camp, head back to Cairo.

Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around the Clock)
At the time of your arrival, a Nature Horizons team member will be awaiting your arrival at Cairo International Airport. We will then escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in. You will receive a briefing on your tour itinerary once you are settled in. The rest of the day is yours to relax and walk around Giza and explore. As always, your tour manager will be there at a moment’s notice to assist you with anything you may need. Enjoy the rest of your night in front of the great pyramids of Giza. Welcome Drink
Day 2: Egypt Pyramids Tour
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met by your guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus – the Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Then move to Egyptian Museum, the Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo

Day 3: Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur
At 08.00 a.m. you will be picked up from your hotel by a Nature Horizons representative to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King zoster. Then Proceed to Dahshur to get inside the Red Pyramid (the oldest true pyramid in history) and see the Bent Pyramid (the most preserved pyramid). After that transfer to Memphis city which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3,000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis

Day 4: Cairo / Alexandria sightseeing tour
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo at 7:00 a.m., and then transfer you to enjoy an amazing day trip to Alexandria. First, visit Bibliotheca Alexandrina major library and cultural center located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. After that move to the Royal jewelry museum at Zizania then proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant. After finishing your first day at Alexandria our guide will transfer you to your accommodation hotel in Alexandria

Day 5: Alexandria sightseeing tour / Cairo
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start a different day with Pompey’s Pillar, which was constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs at Kom el Shoqafa, the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, and then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of pharaohs (lighthouse). then drive back to your hotel in Cairo

Day 6: Cairo / White Desert
starting from Cairo early in the morning From Cairo with our AC private car driving towards Baharia Oasis about 4 hours’ drive then when we arrive at the oasis we find our jeep ready to start our adventure visiting the white desert national park, we start by the black desert then el hez village and the cold spring ( lunch on the way ) then we drive to visit the crystal mountain and we continue driving to aqapat area, after that, we arrive the old white desert ( mushrooms area & tents area ) , then we visit the new white desert with all the lovely limestone formations when we finish our visit we find a nice place to make our camp for dinner and spending the night under the stars

Day 7: Bahariya Oasis / Cairo
After having breakfast in camp, we are ready to drive back to the oasis where we will find our car ready to take us back to Cairo

FAQ's
DO WE NEED A VISA TO GO TO EGYPT?
When we arrive at the airport, we must buy the visa, for 25 us, at the bank window, after filling out a form, we receive a stamp which will be pasted on our passport. We passed through Immigration, which reviewed the passport and finally glued the stamp, signed it. We left, passed an officer who asked us about transfers, guides, hotel vouchers, and then released us to leave. There is no possibility of entering this part of the airport. So we must guide our passengers well because only after leaving can we meet. Immigration asks some questions of passengers, especially unaccompanied, single travelers. They are more targeted than married or in groups. So have the vouchers, phones of our representative at hand, name of the Hotel, travel program with company letterhead, so that this process is easier. We went down a ladder, we are already in Egypt.
HOW DO WE KNOW WHERE OUR TRANSFER IS?
You take your luggage and then you go to the exit gate, where the transfer must be waiting for you. Note: When you search the internet for reservations and transfers or hotels directly, without the help of agencies, you may have several surprises. Some of them can turn into disappointments. We know that Egyptians and Arabs are excellent traders, however, the tourist in Egypt represents a way of life for many Egyptians. They simply adopt the Tourist, which becomes theirs. So everything that the tourist wants, look, ask the price, it cannot be sold by anyone except for him who saw him for the first time … If the tourist has a guide or agency, this approach does not happen, or, if it happens, the trader is removed so as not to disturb the tourist. So having someone accredited by your side, who can protect you from these situations, is really necessary for your tranquility and security.
DO WE HAVE ASSAULT, VIOLENCE, ROBBERIES IN EGYPT?
We have never seen assaults, robberies, just these aggressive, insistent approaches. We advise you not to respond to vendors by asking or telling them where they are from, as this will encourage them to pursue tourists. If the tourist wants something, we ask that they pass the information on to the guides or the company representative, who will always accompany them. He will know how to negotiate and talk with the natives, knowing if the item is true or counterfeit, if the price is correct, or overestimated if he can get a discount or not. This is one of the most delicate items. Street commerce is often confusing. Our guides and our Partner, who accompany tourists, recommend that purchases be made at Khan el Khalili or in stores where tourists can be at ease, without the insistence of traders. There are visits to stores of pure Egyptian cotton sheets, t-shirts, pashminas, shawls, table cloths, typical dresses, bath towels, among others, as well as papyrus artifacts, handicrafts, copper, silver, carpets, perfumes, essences, jewels, seeds, spices, among other items that tourists are enchanted, in complete safety.
HOW IS TRANSPORTATION IN EGYPT?
For 2 to 4 people we have cars for the transfer. From 5 to 15 people, we have vans. From 16 to 30 people we have buses with air conditioning and armchairs. Transfers must pick up guests after breakfast and stay on the tours all day.
HOW ARE THE SERVICES IN THE HOTEL, ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE?
In Cairo, Luxor and Aswan hotels only offer breakfast. In Cruises, Hurghada, Sharm el-sheik, and Alexandria, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the rates. However, during tours in Cairo, every day there will be a snack served to passengers, or a dinner, included in the tour. The programs leave this information very highlighted, as we know that many have the custom of lunch instead of dinner.
HOW ARE CRUISES IN THE NILE RIVER?
We offer 3 categories of Ships: 3*, 4*, 5*. This means that some ships are for 50 people, 150 persons, or 200 persons. Although the service is good, there is some comfort on the biggest ships we don`t find in the smallest. Meals are included and water, but has no drinks, this is off the price, you have to pay separately. Nile River cruises do not have big ships like sea cruises. These are smaller, two-story vessels, with comfortable apartment-type cabins for two, with ample facilities, windows overlooking the River Nile, and 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). There is also a lounge with typical shows, music, recreation in the high season. On the last deck, there is a swimming pool or whirlpool, unheated, suitable for the summer which requires a place to rest and relax during the boat’s displacement, in addition to chairs, shade, bar, music, lounge chairs, smoking area. The ship goes from Luxor to Aswan and back to Luxor in 7 nights, but you can choose 3, 4, or 7 nights.
THE DESTINATIONS: TOURS, TEMPLES, ENTRANCE, MONUMENTS, GUIDE
– During the tours from Luxor to Aswan, the best option is always the cruise, which goes through all the monuments and makes stops at the main points, facilitating access to the Temples. Thus, as in the price of the cruise, tickets and guides are already included. We recommend taking the cruise from Luxor to Aswan, from where it is possible to go to Abu Simbel on a 3-hour round trip and 3-hour return trip. For this tour, the cruise provides a snack kit for each passenger, because that day we left very early, before breakfast. In return, we will have dinner.
HOW LONG WE HAVE TO BE IN EGYPT TO KNOW EVERYTHING?
A trip to Egypt will not be complete if you stay only in Cairo. Knowing Egypt needs to venture into the Nile River, in the desert, in the Temples, in the cities, in the history of the Pyramids, in culture, food, fruits, vegetables, music. Cairo does not offer all of this, as a city of 26 million people is steeped in many stories. Visiting the Cairo Museum or the Grand Museum is already a must for all visitors. We offer tours with 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 20 nights with all tours around included, so you don`t need to pay for any extra tours. If you have fewer days you will see less
WHAT TO SEE IN EGYPT?
Egypt is bathed by the Red Sea in all its eastern extension, to the north by the Mediterranean. The Red Sea has one of the most beautiful collections of marine life, suitable for diving, snorkeling, and research on the seabed. The cities of Hurghada, Mars Alam to the east, Sharm El Sheikh, and Dahab on the Sinai Peninsula, provide good alternatives for visiting and resting. We recommend that they stay there for 3 to 4 nights. In our tours, we offer the option between one or another stay, with the possibility of tours starting from each one. In the north of the country, the Mediterranean Sea bathes two important cities: Alexandria and Port Said. Both have their attractions, but Alexandria, being the oldest, has more monuments and history.
In Alexandria, we have the famous Alexandria Library, a beautiful building by the sea. The Roman Forum, since its construction, with ruins of the old library, the Sphinx, columns, amphitheater. We also have the Catacombs, where the remains of its inhabitants were left. The seaside avenue and the bridges, delicious seafood served in local restaurants, the Qaitbay Castle, a beautiful building, preserved for visitors, which has a wonderful view of Alexandria Bay. We do a full-day tour to Alexandria or Port Said, from Cairo. In the middle, inside the Sahara Desert, we have good options to visit the landscape and test to rest in Tend in the desert, living like Bedouins, on Fayoum Desert, White Desert, Siwa Oasis.
IS EGYPT A FAMILY-FRIENDLY DESTINATION?
Egypt is most definitely a good place to visit on a family vacation. It offers several museums where you can view ancient Egyptian artifacts, tombs of multiple pharaohs, and many more pieces’ representative of Egyptian history. Of course, there are also plenty of pyramids to be viewed and enjoyed by the whole family. If looking to relax, Egypt also offers several beaches, ideal for rounding off your Egypt vacation.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL TO EGYPT?
The best time to visit Egypt would be during the winter months, from October to April. The temperatures are mild and pleasant, although evenings can become quite cool. December through January are the peak tourist months so expect large crowds if traveling at this time. The best time to enjoy the beaches, without having to endure the large crowds of summer tourists, would be from March to May. Temperatures at this time are warm and tourist sites are not too crowded.
WHAT LANGUAGE IS SPOKEN IN EGYPT?
Egyptian Arabic is the official and most widely spoken language in Egypt. English is taught in schools and is considered a secondary language that is most commonly used for tourism purposes.
IS THERE ANY SPECIAL DRESS CODE TO BE FOLLOWED DURING VISITING A MOSQUE IN EGYPT?
Mosques and all other places of worship occupied a high and greatly respected place in the hearts of most Egyptians There aren’t really special clothes to be put on while visiting a mosque in Egypt; however, conservative attire would be highly recommended. In some mosques, women will be asked to cover their hair and perhaps their arms and legs. Both women and men will be asked to remove their shoes before entering a mosque.

- Basic temperature regulating T-shirt – No matter what the season, you’ll want at least one basic
temperature regulating shirt. - Cute temperature-regulating shirt – For some strange and inexplicable reason, Merino wool keeps you
cool in summer, warm in winter, dries quickly, and keeps away moisture. - Insect repellant top – You’ll need this in both summer and winter since insects and mosquitos in Egypt
are pretty active. If you’re particularly concerned, you can also spray Permethrin on your clothing before
you go. It lasts up to six washes. - Long-sleeved temperature regulating top – Winter in Egypt is relatively warm during the day and chilly
at night. You’ll want temperature regulating tops that are suitable for this variation in temperature. Even
if you travel in summer and you end up hiking or camping, you’ll want at least one of these tops. - Blouses / Shirts – For the rest of the time when you’re out and about, you’ll want some nice tops (short
or long-sleeved depending on your sensitivity to sunlight) - People generally dress smartly, so keep that in mind when choosing clothes. Just make sure you pack
lightweight clothes - Cardigan – Having one on hand for chilly evenings or for mosque visits. You’ll also want an additional
layer when taking a bus or train or plane anywhere

I am writing this review as a Travel Agent. My clients just returned from their safari with Nature Horizons. From the time they booked, Dominick was in close contact with both me and my clients. He took the time to do zoom calls with me and my clients more than once to make sure that they were comfortable with everything to do with the trip. While there were a couple of things lost in translation with his team in Tanzania, they were minor and were dealt with immediately. The driver/guide is the absolute best. The lodging, while not close to town, was all very nice with fabulous food. The balloon ride is not to be missed!
