Overview
The Mardi Himal Trek follows the interfluve ridge between the Modi Khola and Mardi Khola valleys. This trek is also called the Hidden Treasure Trek of the Annapurna region since it passes through picturesque scenery throughout the trek. Mardi Himal high camp is located just east of the Annapurna Base Camp, at the side of the magnificent and imposing Fishtail Mountain.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
At your arrival time at the airport in Kathmandu, a nature horizons team member will be waiting to greet you. We will transfer right to your hotel accommodation for the first night. Once you arrive at the hotel, you will meet your guide and get a briefing on your entire tour. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore around Kathmandu. It is a magical city.

Day 2: Trek preparation day
Today you will have a 2nd briefing about the trek during breakfast. We will do a complete gear check to ensure you have brought with you all the necessary equipment and gear for your trek. If there are any items you are missing and need, we will head out into Kathmandu to buy them, so you are prepared for your trek. It is now time to relax, and your trek starts tomorrow.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara drive to Kande and trek to Australian Camp
We will take an early flight to Pokhara today. As soon as we land our drive starts towards Kande. Located on a hilltop, Kande offers pleasant views of the mountains. We’ll then trek to an Australian camp which will provide us the best view if the weather permits.

Day 4: Trek to Forest Camp
Today’s route is relatively easy. Walking at an easy pace, we will be passing through forest covers. The forest camp area includes an open area with a few lodges.

Day 5: Trek to High Camp
We will be heading to a slightly higher altitude today. The trail will take us through dense forest which starts to thin out while we gain altitude. Be prepared for a strenuous and long trek the next morning. The open ridge in this route offers stunning views of the mountains.

Day 6: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp and trek to Low Camp
Since we are jumping directly from 2990m to 4250m, the hike will be strenuous. If you feel uneasy at any part of the journey, inform your guide. The view from the base camp promises a spectacular view of Mardi Himal peak. After an hour, we will descend towards the middle camp.

Day 7: Trek to Sidhing and drive to Pokhara
On the last leg of the trek, we’ll head down towards Sidhing Camp. Enjoy your last few hours of respite before we head down to the busy city of Pokhara again.

Day 8: Explore Pokhara
A full day in Pokhara will give us an opportunity to explore a bit of this beautiful city. We can go to Lake Fewa for a peaceful boating experience. Later we can go to visit Davis falls and Gupteshwor cave. We will have some free time on our own. There are lots of adventure activities like paragliding, zip-lining, bungee jumping, ultra-light flight, etc. should we choose to go for some adventure thrill. Or we can simply relax around.

Day 9: Fly to Kathmandu
After spending some time relaxing at the lakeside of Pokhara we will take a late flight back to Kathmandu. Spend your last minutes doing some souvenir shopping.

Day 10: Final Departure
As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport of Kathmandu 3 hours prior to the flight time and your tour ends here.
