Travel from La Paz toward the shores of Lake Titicaca, passing through open highland landscapes before reaching Copacabana, a lakeside town known for its spiritual significance and long standing traditions. After visiting local landmarks, continue by boat across the lake toward the legendary Sun Island. On the island, the experience unfolds through ancient Inca sites, traditional communities, and panoramic views over the lake. A scenic walk along historic pathways leads to the northern settlements, offering a strong sense of place and continuity between past and present.

SUN ISLAND AND RETURN TO LA PAZ

Begin the day with early morning light over Lake Titicaca, followed by exploration of sacred Inca stairways and ceremonial fountains long associated with Andean cosmology. Continue by boat to additional archaeological sites on the island before crossing to the Island of the Moon, home to important Inca temple ruins. In the afternoon, return to Copacabana and continue by private transport back to La Paz, arriving with time to relax and reflect on the lake region’s cultural significance.

Uyuni
